| Owning a Z isnt just like owning any other car its a lifestyle. Weather you join a club, go to meets, or live in the middle of no where where no one else has one. I live all the way in the Bahamas and I cant go to Z meets or bbq's but Im on TT.net everyday and its kinda like being on crack although I cant really compare the two. Dont look at the Z as a common sports car. Think of it as what it is. A high end top of the line performance machine that should be up with the porches and europeans. I laugh at these new cars when I find out that most of them dont even have all the features of a Z or are just getting them added on. I bought mine for 2K (90 TT JSPEC) and Im sure I put in 6k or close to it already. Mine had a great body with no rust but just need 20 years worth of love all at once. Ive had it for a year now and Im hoping that I can finally put it on the road next month if all goes well. Im not some rich kid or anything. I work a full time job at the Atlantis resort here in Nassau as an Aquarist and to be honest the pay isnt all that. But I love my z and it comes before most things when it comes to money. I work around my z and savings. Now you could get a great car with no serious work needing to be done at the time. Look over it well and be prepared for supprises. Also I highly suggest that if you do get it make this site your best friend. Learn who to buy parts from, learn to search, buy some tools, and start learning how to do mechanic work. Im at work so I dont have time to re-read this or anything. But thats my few sense.
